• Handling: Skittish and quick when startled, but can be warmed up to handling with time and effort. As with most geckos these can lose their tails if threatened, and can also shed their skin with rough handling or under extreme duress.

• Diet: Gecko diet including Blue River Diets, Arcadia, Repashy, Pangea, as well as live insects such as locusts, crickets, calci worms, etc.

An awesome species of gecko growing to almost 30cm long – as their name suggests, day geckos are diurnal, and will be out and about during the day. They are incredibly active and require a large amount of space – this little one would look fantastic in a full planted bioactive vivarium as a display piece in the home.
