Our chameleon setup kit has been put together with the forefront of herpetoculture in mind – using widely agreed upon standards from many leading experts in reptile housing, lighting, and care.
The basic kits include:
- 60x60x120cm (2ftx2ftx4ft) screen cage or 90x45x90cm glass tank with screen ventilation
- 8w 7% ShadeDweller T5 UVB kit
- Deep Dome
- 50w Deep Heat Projector
- Monsoon Mini Misting System
- Big Dripper
- Thermo/Hygrometer
Please note the main difference between the ReptiBreeze and the Deluxe Screen Cage is that the Deluxe has a clear acrylic door for viewing your animal unobstructed, wheras the ReptiBreeze is made entirely of metal screen mesh
The advanced kits include everything in the basic, as well as;
– 2 Natural Liana Vines (120cm)
– 3 live plants (dependant on what is in stock, e.g weeping fig, parlor palms, devil’s ivy, monstera, philodendron). These will always be plants suitable to tropical environments and we will aim to include 2 tall plants and one low creeper/trailing plant e.g. Epipremnum aureum, Philodendron scandens/micans
This setup kit is suitable for
- Panther Chameleons
- Yemen/Veiled Chameleons
- Carpet Chameleons
- Elliots Chameleons
Larger chameleon species such as Jacksons chameleons and Parsons chameleons will need a larger setup – e.g. a 4ftx4ft. This can be achieved by ziptying two of the 2x2x4 cages together!
