Description
A true master of camouflage, the ghost mantis (Phyllocrania paradoxa) is a small growing mantis species that has evolved to look like a dry, weathered leaf. This mantis will grow to around 2 inches maximum, females growing larger than males.
Cohabiting has been attempted with ghost mantis as they are less opportunistic than other mantis species, however mantises are still mantises and cannibilization is a risk. We only recommend attempted cohabitation for those experienced with mantids.
As with all mantises, keep in a tall enclosure with plenty of things to climb on, Temperature around 20-25c. The lower the temperature the slower the growth rate.
