Royal Pythons, also known as ball pythons, are probably the most commonly kept snake in captivity due to their docile, chill personality and relatively easy care. These adults are very friendly retired breeders from our programme that have fantastic personalities and are excellent feeders, never missing a meal.

• Average Adult Size: 3.5-4.5ft

• Average Lifespan: 15-20+ Years

• Handling: Excellent for handling. They can be exploratory but will happily sit around shoulders or cuddled up especially in a warm environment

• Suitability: Beginner

• Natural Habitat: Tropical forests in Africa

• Tank Size: 120x60x60cm (48x24x24″) minimum

• Diet: Frozen/Thawed rodents e.g mice, rats, multi mammate mice, gerbils, day old chicks, hamsters.
