Ladies and gentlemen, meet beautiful Squid.

Squid is an older gentleman, around 10 years old but still has plenty of life left in him. He eats like a champion and sheds well, and loves a bit of time around your shoulders for a cuddle. He is around 4-5ft long so fully grown, and loves to be nosy and watch whats going on outside his vivarium.

Squid would make a great addition to a home of any level of experience as he is not an aggressive snake nor does he need any specialist care. He is sweet as cherry pie and is looking for a lovely retirement home where he can chill out, and have some interaction/handling.

Squid will need a 4x2x2 vivarium with thermostatically controlled overhead heating, linear UVB (6%/Zone 2), and plenty of stuff for him to hide in so he feels safe. Full setups are available for Squid at a discounted rate if you are wanting to give this little guy the care he deserves.

An adoption fee of £50 applies to all of our beginner friendly rehome animals to ensure they are going to the best home possible

A very popular first frog, these terrestrial (ground dwelling) frogs have massive appetites. This paired with their round bodies, large mouths, and cute faces earn them the name 'Pac-man' frogs, after the 80s video game character.

Check out our terrestrial frog setup kits, too!

You can’t beat a big green frog!

When fully grown, Pacman frogs can reach a size of around 4-7 inches in length, generally. Consider their adult size when planning their enclosure size and selecting appropriately sized prey for them. It is important to note that amphibians, including Pacman frogs, are highly sensitive to chlorine and other chemicals found in tap water. Therefore, it is essential to use dechlorinated water for their water dish and for misting the enclosure. You can use either bottled water, or tap water left uncovered for 48 hours.

Pacman frogs are carnivorous, and their diet should consist of appropriately sized insects, such as crickets, roaches, and mealworms. They also enjoy small rodents, such as mice and pinkie rats.
